I ditched Wednesday&#8217;s double-5Ks out of concern for what that kind of output could do to my currently taxed immune system, but I felt confident enough to run 10 miles today on <a href=\"http:\/\/www.usatf.org\/routes\/view.asp?rID=243007\">a course Jeff put together<\/a> at &#8220;marthon +30&#8221; pace (8:07 per mile).<\/p>\n<p>At that pace, I should have completed the ten miles in 1:21:10. My actual time was 1:18:02, which is a pace of 7:48 per mile (marathon +11). This relieves me quite a bit, as I felt I could hold this pace for some time. So given that the marathon is still two months away, I am looking good&#8230; as long as I can shake this cold, which has gotten into quite a drippy stage.
